General Contractor, Southside was selected by Burroughs & Chapin Company of Myrtle Beach to build one of the first Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurants located in the coastal area of South Carolina. This world famous restaurant is situated at The Marina Village at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach. Designed by the architectural firm, LS3P Associates Ltd. this project is unique to its area and reflects the elegant Mediterranean architectural style of Grande Dunes yet still offers the casual feel of Myrtle Beach.

The 10,740 square foot single-story facility consists of five dining areas, a patio with a bar for outdoor dining as well as a state-of-the art kitchen, lobster aquarium, a large bar area, office space, and storage/utility areas. The interior of the restaurant is accented with mahogany mill work and granite counter tops. The exterior of the building has a clay tile roof, cast stone, ceramic tile, and architectural woodwork.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Inc. is one of the largest fine-dining companies in the U.S., as measured by the total number of company-owned and franchise-owned restaurants, with 92 locations worldwide. Founded in New Orleans by Ruth Fertel in 1965, Ruth’s Chris specializes in USDA Prime grade steaks served in Ruth’s Chris signature fashion … “sizzling.”

The Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Marina Village at Grande Dunes is owned and operated by franchisee Carolina Sizzle Myrtle Beach, LLC.
