Southside Constructors, Inc. worked with Stanley Total Living Center and Holland and Hamrick Architects to create The Parke at Stanley Total Living Center. This 32,000 square foot facility will serve as an independent living facility, and house residents over the age of 55. The building consists of twelve one bedroom one bath units, and eight two bedroom two bath units. These units feature full kitchens for residents, handicap accessible bathrooms, and outdoor patio areas. Resident areas include a library, office area, computer room, workout center, lounging area featuring a stone fireplace, game room, and a dining room. Residents will receive two meals per day prepared by Stanley Total Living Center’s fulltime chef and cook team in the new commercial kitchen. The exterior of the building is clad in stone masonry along with painted fiber cement siding.
There was extensive site work for the new 12 acre development including public utilities, underground detention, sand filters, segmental retaining walls, hardscapes, and landscaping. The site package also included site work for the next phase of The Parke which will include building twenty more units mirroring the existing twenty units.
