General Contractor completes renovation of specialty retail shop in exclusive mall, The Foundry at Cedar Street

G. George & Company along with Laughing Dog Studio Architects hand-picked Southside Constructors, Inc. to provide general construction services for their new, high-end specialty retail store redevelopment project.  The undertaking of this 6,000 square foot space located in The Foundry at Cedar Street mall included the complete demolition and removal of existing interior finishes and the addition of several cosmetic improvements.  The receptionist area was specifically redesigned and constructed to serve as a focal point in the showroom with its strong, sweeping lines.   It was also designed to be very functionable by utilizing removable wall panels. Southside was able to fulfill the contract effectively and efficiently so as to complete the project in just forty-five days allowing the client to enjoy a pre-season grand opening!

The newly remodeled showroom features:

•  Restored hardwood floors

•  A synthetic marque

•  Task and specialty lighting

•  New gypsum board partitions

•  Upgraded floor coverings

•  Various wall coverings including faux grass behind the receptionist counter

•  Removable wall panels in the receptionist area to allow all fabrics to be displayed to customers
