Charlotte, North Carolina, Febrary 10, 2006—Southside Constructors, Inc. has completed the construction on the Villa Antonio Italian Ristorante. Specializing in authentic Northern Italian cuisine and serving the Charlotte area since 1987, this is the second restaurant for owner Antonio Garcia which is located in Ballantyne Village.

Celebrating its grand opening in January, this 6,000 square foot upfit restaurant offers fine dining elegance, as well as a festive yet romantic atmosphere with an Italian flair. For dining, there is the Villa Rotunda Room, two private dining areas and a large ‘piazza’  (patio). Additional areas of the restaurant include a cocktail lounge, piano bar, dance floor, kitchen and hostess/waiting area.

Designed by Urban Architecture, architect John Urban describes it as “a highly energized space of varying materials and scale, creating a breathtaking visual experience complimenting the smells and colors of the cuisine.”
