Unprecedented growth by Southside Constructors, Inc. led to the relocation of the general contracting firm’s corporate headquarters.  After purchasing a former knitting mill, Southside proceeded with demolition activities to turn the former dye house into a suitable working space.  Of the building’s 60,000 SF, 10,000 SF was converted to office space leaving the remaining 50,000 SF as warehouse storage for the company’s tools, construction materials, files, etc.  The space was completely redesigned to accommodate several employee offices, a new conference room, and restroom and break room facilities.  A new drop ceiling was installed utilizing high quality acoustical panels.  Ceramic tile was installed in the guest restrooms, and upgraded carpet was installed throughout.
