General Contractor builds new steak house

Southern Pines, North Carolina, October 1, 2008 – One of Southside Constructors, Inc. latest construction projects is Southern Prime Steak House, a new ground up restaurant located in the historic downtown area of Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Designed by JDavis Architects in Raleigh, NC, this single story facility will be cladded in tumbled modular brick and precast to blend with the existing historical theme. The exterior windows and doors will be solid mahogany with beveled glass accents.

The interior finishes will include extensive mahogany millwork throughout, color integrated plaster walls, mahogany ceiling accents, wood, stone and carpet flooring. The focal point of this restaurant will be its two-story wine room located in the center of the building and will house a collection in excess of 12,000 bottles. Additional areas of the restaurant include multiple dining rooms, a full service bar, and an outdoor dining patio.
