Preferred Flooring Selects General Contractor to build new headquarters

Preferred Flooring has selected Southside Constructors, Inc. to build their new headquarters located in Indian Trail, NC. Designed by Architect Chris Hope, P.E., this new building contains office and warehouse space and is comprised of a pre-engineered structure with brick veneer, metal panels and  a metal roof. The interior contains a lobby, offices, conference room, break room, restrooms, work room, file storage area, large warehouse, as well as additional space for future use.

Extensive site work performed includes clearing and grading, site utilities, widening of roadway, asphalt paving, concrete paving, sidewalks, and concrete at rear of building for loading docks, pavement striping, retaining walls and a complete landscaping & irrigation package.

Half of the new structure will be a total build out including tenant up-fit. The remaining 50% will be a building shell only until a tenant up-fit can be designed.

Interior and exterior finishes are comprised of:

• Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Glass storefront windows and doors
• Overhead doors
• Pre-finished standing seam metal canopies
• Painting
• Acoustical ceiling tiles
• GWB partitions
• Doors, frames, hardware, and toilet accessories
