General Contractor performs interior up-fit in Charlotte’s Historic South End

Southside Constructors, Inc. has been chosen for the interior up-fit of this 138 unit apartment complex which is being converted into high end condominiums.

The apartment complex was built in 1992 in the center of the Olmstead Park Community located in Charlotte’s premier South End neighborhood. The development is comprised of one bedroom/one bath and two bedroom/two bath units ranging from 550 SF to 1,100 SF each. The interior up-fit consists of the demolition of its existing finishes and upgrades to the existing structure and systems, including the installation of new hardwood, ceramic tile and carpet flooring, wood cabinetry, granite countertops, neutral paint, new windows, new light fixtures, doors and polished nickel hardware. Stainless steel appliances are used throughout the kitchen. Upgrades are also available to customize each unit to the individual buyer’s needs. An interior up-fit was also completed in the community pool clubhouse, which is currently serving as the sales office for the re-development project.

All changes made to Olmstead Park conform to the craftsman-style neighborhood as well as the historical feel but with all modern amenities.
