Southside Constructors, Inc. Cruises over to McKenney Dodge

Gastonia, North Carolina, September 20, 2007— Southside Constructors, Inc. was selected as the General Contractor for both the interior and exterior renovations as well as a new addition to the McKenney Dodge automotive dealership. This fast track design-build project, designed by Priest Architecture allows for the addition of Chrysler Jeep and includes a new 35 foot tall arched parapet wall, a new storefront and a new 1,000 square foot vehicle delivery center.

Interior modifications in the showroom consist of all new finishes, acoustical ceilings, and millwork to create an up to date design. Renovations in the service department include a new area for vehicle write-up, a remodeled waiting room, parts display, and a play area for children. Maintaining sales and service operations while renovating the dealership was of utmost importance to the project. Constant communication and coordination between McKenney Dodge and Southside Constructors, Inc. allowed business to continue while the work was performed.
