General Contractor selected to upfit showroom facility

After a successful negotiation, Southside Constructors, Inc. began the interior and exterior upfit of an 18,368 square foot pre-engineered metal building. Located in Gastonia, NC and designed by Priest Architecture, this newly renovated facility is now the new location of McKenney-Salinas Honda Power Sports.

Scope of work for the project included the removal and replacement of all electric, mechanical, plumbing systems as well as the current office spaces and all exterior metal panels. The existing steel structure and roof remains, the steel was repainted and new insulation installed at the roof. Each side of the building is re-skinned with new metal panels along with new storefront at the showroom entrance and glass roll up door at the service and write-up area.

Additional work consisted of new interior storefront doors at offices with windows, repainting of existing exposed steel, painting of all new drywall partitions, insulation and Liner Panels for interior of existing structure walls, and a new sidewalk.
