Johnny’s Suzuki Selects Southside Constructors, Inc. to Build Second Automotive Retail Facility

General Contractor completes new facility in Easley, South Carolina

Easley, South Carolina, August 14, 2008 — Extremely satisfied with the work completed on his Johnny’s Suzuki dealership located in Conway, South Carolina, Johnny Dangerfield selected Southside Constructors, Inc. and Winstead Wilkinson Architects to be his design-build partners once again, this time on their new showroom facility located in Easley, South Carolina. 

The recently completed 22,000 square foot two-story building is constructed around a conventional steel structure with a synthetic stucco exterior wall system. The front elevation features a storefront wall glass system accented by the trademark Suzuki square and Lifestyle Frames. The Suzuki Square is wrapped with red architectural composite metal panels. Project interior finishes include ceramic hard tile in the showroom and epoxy floor systems in the Service area. The Service area is fully conditioned and is equipped with a carbon monoxide filtration system. Southside Constructors worked with the owner’s vendors to coordinate installation of phone/data, furniture and service equipment.

The flagship facility includes a fully operational business development center (BDC), offices for Finance and Insurance (F&I), a nine bay service department, service write up and second floor parts storage. A three bay area is included at the rear of the building for prep and delivery (PDI).
