HICO Baptist Church chooses General Contractor to build new facility
The congregation of HICO Baptist Church gathered resources and revised designs with the assistance from the Utah based architectural firm of Daniel Cook & Associates (DCA) for eight years prior to selecting Southside Constructors, Inc. to construct their new church.
Southside Constructors, Inc. worked with the church to meet their budget and provide them with the facility they needed, which also included space for them to expand. The congregation was involved in many aspects of the project including floor covering, cabinetry, pulpit framing, pews, decorative paints and cleaning.
Working together, SCI and the HICO Baptist Church congregation completed a new church facility housing a 300 seat sanctuary, offices, classrooms and nurseries, all with room to expand. A corner lot allows for high visibility from the main road, plenty of parking and room for additional buildings in the future.
Exterior and interior finishes include:
- Butler pre-engineered steel structure
Brick veneer, EIFS standing seam metal roof and storefront glass exterior finishes
Painted wall surfaces, carpet and vinyl flooring
Sanctuary seating for 250 people. Pulpit and choir platform for 65 people
Administration offices and classrooms
Two nursery rooms
Future expansion space inside building
Site work ready for owner’s final touch
