Southside Constructors, Inc. Lands at Concord Regional Airport
General Contractor Builds 29,000 SF Aircraft Hanger

Concord, North Carolina, April 19, 2010 – Southside Constructors, Inc. (SCI) has completed the construction of the Concord Regional Airport Hangar "F". SCI was selected by the Concord Regional Airport to build this 29,000 SF aircraft hangar designed by the Architectural firm Pease Associates.

The scope of work for this project included site work, building foundation, a 275 foot clear span pre-engineered structure with fire rated walls, motor operated hangar doors, under floor trace heating at hangar door rails, lighting control system equipped with occupancy sensor time delay settings, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire suppression/sprinkler system. Site work consisted of grading, new utilities, paving, and concrete work. A mezzanine and two offices were also incorporated into the hanger.
