General Contractor renovates four stores



In early 2005, Southside Constructors, Inc. worked with Little Diversified Architectural Consulting to begin interior renovations of four Circle K convenience stores located in the Raleigh-Durham area. The 7,600 square foot (1,900 SF per store) project began with the demolition and removal of fixtures, finishes and equipment.  New interior finishes included wall and floor tile, acoustical ceilings, paint and GFRG ceiling panels as well as a new interior lighting package. To complete this project Southside coordinated all of the delivery and installation of owner furnished equipment and furnishings. Work included a complete makeover of all interior finishes while the owner maintained operations of the facilities. 

Coordination of delivery and installation of owner furnished equipment and furnishings included:

• A self-serve area including a coffee bar with cappuccino machine, ice/beverage dispensers for fountain drinks, a food area with a Hot Stuff Express counter, roller grill, condiment area and Turbo Chef Oven
• Beverage coolers
• Sales/checkout counter and signs
• Gondolas and shelving to hold and display merchandise
• Snack racks, wine displays and magazine racks
• Bistro tables with stools
