Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Palisades Country Club

Charlotte, North Carolina, October 14, 2005—Southside Constructors, Inc. and Timberlake Golf Club, LLC will be celebrating the beginning of construction on the new Palisades Country Club with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday,  October 20, at 5:30 p.m. The new country club and groundbreaking ceremony will be located at 13720 Grand Palisades Parkway in Charlotte.

Construction on this two story, 21,000 square foot facility is scheduled to begin this month. Situated in The Palisades, this 1,500-acre planned community combines nature with a magnificent collection of amenities. The future country club will overlook the eighteenth hole of the Nicklaus Design Championship golf course.

Designed by Schrader Custom Architectural Design, Via II Architects and inspired by Vermont’s Shelburne Farms, some key features of the facility will be a PGA professional golf shop, The Nicklaus Room with a main bar and lounge and an outdoor dining area, full-service kitchen, sun terrace, banquet hall and three stone fireplaces.
